My Comment:When I initially received his email, I must admit thinking aloud, "Is he for real? He is even older than my father!" I called on him and found him to serious about his undertaking. One of my queries was "Do you have any medical problem?" He replied, "No. Just got a polio on my left leg since young." Ronald walks with a slight limp.Ronald is a really busy person, often on the move. I think he takes flights like many people take taxis. Just imagine, he was the man behind the setting of the audio system of the iconic Esplanade - theatres on the bay in Singapore which hosts world-class performances for the arts. Determined and busy as he was, he finally led his team up Mount Kinabalu on the 29 August 2006 and made it to Low's peak at 7 am on the 30 August 2006, just in time to see the sunrise. Ronald is a very friendly and inspiring person, who holds true to his words. No mountain too high nor age an obstacle for one young at heart. Indeed, someone to learn from. Climbing Mt Kinabalu...an Awesome ExperienceClimbing Mt Kinabalu had been an awesome experience for us. The memories of our struggle up 13,400 feets beyond the clouds has been and still is... alive and an inspiration to us to climb other mountains in our life.
